Coach Flash got its start in the winter of ‘99 where Flash (Larry ‘Flash’ Alexander) was a motivated Dad helping out with the team. The coach was a former coach/player, age 32 named Jud Clark. Jud taught the team and Flash many valuable lessons about hockey that would last a life time.
After that successful season Flash became head coach for the Web Warriors. The Web Warriors became SLO famous as they generally had great, well above 500 seasons.
As the kids improved Flash went on to establish the area’s first competitive team; SLO Rolling Thunder.
