Sun Sets on 06-07 FCAHA Language Exchange Season

Posted by coach  Published in Adult Leagues, Hockey

Team waits till the last two games to put it all together with back to back wins. It appears they take their cues from the Avalanche! All in all it turned out to be a great season for this merry band of hockey players. Christy amazed all with her speed, Eric with his prolific scoring and Jim with his athletic saves (earned a shutout in final game). We did have our caveats and league leading stats; led the league in hot hockey chicks with no fewer than six babes, ah er, women on the team; other teams fielded two or three.

Thank You
First and foremost thanks to Language Exchange for sponsoring the team. Check out what Language Exchange is all about. Next up is thanks to Eric Carlson for captaining the team and bringing us all together. More thanks for all the beer bringers (Scott Heyworth in 1st place here) as I’m sure I got more than my fair share. Mark Rotman deserves a pat on the back for hosting our first party. That was a blast and was great getting to meet spouses and significant others. I’ll offer props in advance to Jim Loonan before we trash his place during party #2.

Next Up
PARTY TIME at Jim Loonan’s mansion in the upper crust Roland Moore neighborhood in south west Fort Collins. Party Crashers will want to take Shields to Hill Pond Road (head east), to Gilgalad Way (turn left) 708 Gilgalad Way. (View Google Map)

Note: I’ll leave my camera home….
